Cuthmay

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

This policy explains what information Cuthmay handles when you visit the website, view an invitation, or administer an event.

Information we handle

Cuthmay displays wedding invitations and provides event administrators with tools to manage guest lists and event details. Depending on how you use the site, information may include guest names, invitation details, RSVP or guest-list information, comments submitted on an invitation, and event photos or other content uploaded by an administrator.

When an administrator signs in, we handle account information such as name and email address to authenticate the user and provide the appropriate access. The site also uses essential authentication cookies and stores a theme preference in your browser.

How information is used

Information is used to display invitations, manage guest lists, show event content, provide account access, protect the site from abuse, and respond to support or privacy requests. Guest comments may be reviewed and moderated by event administrators.

Invitation and event details may be visible to anyone who has access to the corresponding public invitation link. Please avoid putting sensitive personal information in public invitation content or comments.

Facebook and other services

Cuthmay invitation links can be shared on social networks, including Facebook. Facebook may retrieve a page title, description, and preview image to display a link preview. Cuthmay does not currently offer Facebook Login and does not request or receive your Facebook account data through this feature.

Cuthmay uses third-party hosting, database, authentication, and file-storage services to operate the website. Those providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy terms. Social networks and your browser may also process information when you visit or share a link.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication cookies are used to keep administrators signed in and support account security. A theme preference may be saved in your browser so the site can remember your display choice. Blocking cookies or browser storage may affect these features.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with service providers where needed to run Cuthmay, and with people who can access an invitation or event as configured by its administrator. We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, meet legitimate operational needs, or comply with legal obligations. Event administrators can request that event content be corrected or removed.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with an invitation or event by contacting the event administrator who shared the invitation or manages the event. Account holders can contact the person who manages their Cuthmay account. Requests may require reasonable verification before action is taken.

Because Cuthmay does not use Facebook Login or receive Facebook profile information, we do not hold Facebook Login data to delete. To remove information that appears in a Facebook link preview after the source page changes, use Facebook's Sharing Debugger to refresh the preview.

Security and changes

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The latest version will be available at this URL with its revision date.
